Job Overview As a Pre-Opening Outlet Executive at Millennia Village, you will be responsible for smoothly setting up and running our 4 F&B outlets, namely: All-Day Dining, Kopitiam, Sky-bar and the Grab & Go.You will be responsible for your personnel and ensuring proper completion of all F&B outlet duties. You will also need to prepare monthly reports and budget for the Food & Beverage department. What are the immediate responsibilities: Oversee the service of all Food & Beverages within Millennia Village. Apply attention to detail to the way in which food and drinks are presented, ensuring residents and visitors receive quality service and products consistently.Ensure Hygiene and Food Safety Policies, Fire & Safety Standards are explained to staff, and are correctly applied.Monitor and ensure smooth operation of outlets including customer service. Constantly obtaining customer feedback during the operations to ensure guest satisfaction.Ensure that all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned, in order to prolong usage as well as implement general maintenance and follow up work orders with the engineering department.Be in attendance at core meal times ensuring that guests receive the best possible service as well as providing an initial point of contact should there be any questions or complaints.Liaise with chef on duty to ensure seamless food service and ensure good communication with head chef to provide feedback on food service.Observe staff individual performance, grooming, and punctuality, as well as conducting staff appraisals and disciplinary action if required.Liaise with the Stewarding department on quarterly inventory taking as well as monitoring and reporting breakages.Approve food & beverage general requisitions transfer/forms in the outlet and be aware of the costs involved. Monitor the daily F&B stock, as well as implement appropriate and effective measures to improve costs and expenses. What are the requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing F&B Outlets. Experience in hospitality is an added advantage.Proven ability to train and lead staff to ensure high standards in F&B operations. Pre-opening experience is an added advantage.Knowledge of cloud-based POS systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Excellent language command (written and verbal) in English. Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia) is an added advantage.Relocate or be located at the Village, located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
