Job Overview

As the Safety and Security Manager, you will lead and manage the security operations of Millennia Village. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our residents, staff, and visitors, while also protecting the property and assets of the village. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to risk management and security planning.

What are the immediate responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and supervise our security personnel team to ensure high-security management standards.
  • Keep developing and implementing comprehensive security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Continue to develop techniques to prevent or minimise waste, theft or pilferage.
  • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, including evacuation procedures.
  • Conduct regular drills and training sessions for staff and residents on safety and emergency protocols.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during security incidents and emergencies.

What are the requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security management is highly advantageous.
  • 5 years minimum of proven experience as a Safety and Security Manager or similar role, preferably within real estate or hospitality sectors.
  • Ability to lead and work independently, but collaborate as part of one team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English. (Cantonese / Mandarin / Bahasa Malaysia) is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in office software and familiarity with standard office equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; remaining composed under pressure.
  • Customer-centric approach with a dedication to delivering outstanding service.
  • Knowledge of the local community and area is an advantage
  • Relocate or be located at the Village, located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
